“That was the most fun I have ever had, well not as much fun as Disneyland though.” Lilly said.

“Okay, we know. You’ve already said that like 20 times already.” Heather said.

They were doing some shopping at the mall. They were trying to find some dresses for the winter party. They weren’t sure what they were looking for but they had lots of time to roam around the mall.

“Oh look at that!” Lilly pointed at the display window near them.

It was a beautiful turquoise strapless dress. They just stared at the dress in front of the store for a while, taking it all in.

“Okay we have to go in and try it on!” Kathy finally spoke for all of them.

“We’ll see who will look best in the dress, besides it looks like they got lots of choice in there. They look like designer dresses too.” Heather pointed out.

They walked into store, pushed open the door. The bell rang when the door was opened. A salesgirl behind the counter stopped what she was doing and went to welcome them into the store.

“Welcome, feel free to look around. These dresses here on this rack has 50% discount.” She pointed a rack next to her filled with beautiful dresses.

“Okay, thanks, but we’d like to try that turquoise strapless there on display.” Lilly said.

“Sure, no problem I’ll take it down for you.” The salesgirls said.
She handed Lilly the dress and showed her the way to the dressing room.

“I’ll go try it on first” She told them.

Both Kathy and Heather went looking around racks of dresses and party clothes. Kathy pulled out a black bubble dress with a pink ribbon on the dress. Heather pulled out a navy blue halter dress. They went on picking out 5 other dresses in 2 minutes while waiting for Lilly. After a while Lilly finally came out wearing the dress.

“What do you think?” she asked them while she gave a spin.

“It looks great, it fits you perfectly but it seems a bit loose.” Heather said

“How does the first part of your sentence make sense if it’s a bit loose?” Kathy said.

“Okay then Lilly it does not fit you perfectly but it looks good on you.” Heather said again.

“Okay so I know it looks good on me then. You turn Kathy.” Lilly said.

Lilly went back in to change and came out handing the dress over to Kathy. She then proceed to go and change. While she was in the dressing room, Heather pulled Lilly over to the further end of the store where Kathy could not hear them.

“What’s up?” Lilly said.

“I told Ryan something yesterday.” Heather told her.

“What, Did you told him you love him and to dump Kathy and runaway with you?” Lilly said dramatically in one breath.

“What?! No but it’s a funny thought you have there.” Heather said.

“Then what?” Lilly asked.

“Just as we walked out of the studio after the shoot, I asked Ryan to got to the school Winter party.” Heather said.

“You mean to go as your date? Oh Kathy is going to be so mad at you if she find out, she’s probably gonna kill you.” Lilly said.

“No, wrong again. I didn’t ask him out, I just asked him to go see the performance and maybe surprise Kathy and be her date. But you are right about her killing me if she finds out.” Heather said.

“Oh my, you are in so much trouble right now.” Lilly said in a melody tone.

“Lil, Heath!” Kathy called out.

They both went over to the dressing room and have a look at Kathy. They were breathless at the first sight. She looked great in the dress; it did defiantly fit her PERFECTLY.

“WOW” both of them said and it was all they could say at the moment.

“That’s it it’s defiantly yours and I defiantly don’t need to try it on.” Heather said.

“Girl, it looks awesome on you. You look very beautiful in it. We might just need to get you some nice accessories and a cute shoe to match with it.” Lilly said

“You guys seem like you’re exaggerating with the compliments.” Kathy laughed.

“No we’re not.” Heather said.

“Okay then I’ll take this but I really like the black dress that I picked out, I’ll
just get both of them.” Kathy said.

“Ooh, Lilly that lime green dress looks nice and not too over the top, you should get it.” She continued.

“She’s right Lil, the dress looks gorgeous and it might be great for your complexion.” Heather said.

“Now my turn, I need a dress” Heather continued.

“Okay, what about that black strapless bubble dress?” Lilly pointed out.

“No, it looks a bit too normal.” Heather said.

“What about that red silk mini?” Kathy asked.

“No, too much.” Heather said.

“Oh this looks cute.” Heather pulled out an A symmetrical dress in purple.

“It is cute!” Kathy said.

“Well anything that’s purple looks cute or beautiful to you.” Lilly said to Kathy.

“Well it does look cute and it seems like it will fit you nicely.” Lilly said to Heather.

“Then it’s decide, I’ll get you.” Heather said to the dress.

They all purchased their dresses and proceed to look for a nice pair of shoe. They went into their usual shoe store, it’s filled with different kinds of shoes, and it’s like a shoe heaven.

“HI, Alice.” The girls greeted a middle-aged woman in the store when they went in.

“Hi girls, how are my favorite customers?” Alice asked them.

“We’re fine thanks, but we need your help to find the perfect shoes for these dresses.” Kathy showed her their dress.

“Oh I’ve got the perfect shoes for these dressed, just wait here and I’ll go get it.” Alice told them.

“Thank you very much Alice” Lilly said.

They all looked around the store while they waited for Alice to get their shoes. Finally after a few minutes, Alice came out with 6 boxes filled with shoes for them.

“Here you go ladies.” She handed them the shoes.

“Wow, this is really perfect for my dress.” Heather said.

“I think you’re the shoe Goddess.” Lilly said to Alice.

They all laughed at Lilly’s comment.

“Well thanks, glad you like these shoes.” Alice smiled.

The girls looked at the mirror together, admiring the beautiful shoes.

“Girls, we are defiantly going to took fabulous in the party.” Heather said to them.

“You got that right.” Lilly said
They all proceeded to purchase their shoes.

“Thanks Alice.” The girls said together as they walked out the door.

“So now we got our whole outfits together, that one thing done in the check list.” Heather said.

“I’m hungry; let’s go to the food court.” Lilly suggested.

“Okay. I’m starting to get hungry too.” Kathy held onto her stomach.

The girls walked to the food court and on their way, they bumped into Ryan. He was hanging out with his friend, Casey and Tony.

“Hi.” Ryan said to them.

“Hey.” Kathy said back to him.

“Nice bumping into you. What are you doing here?” Ryan asked.

“Oh, we’re just getting some stuff. You know girls and shopping.” Kathy said to him.

“Hey ladies.” Tony said to them smoothly.

“Oh yeah, these are my friends, Casey and this is Tony.” Ryan pointed out.

“Hi I’m Kathy, this is Lilly and this is Heather.” She introduced herself and her friends.

“So you’re the Kathy that Ryan has been talking about.” Tony said.

“You’re not like the kind of girl that he usually dates but you are as beautiful as he said.” Tony continued.

“Thanks, I guess.” Kathy said.

“You can just ignore him.” Ryan smiled shyly.

“So where are you heading now?” Ryan asked.

“We’re on our way to the food court. Want to come along?” Lilly asked them.

“Thanks, but sorry we can’t. I have to get some stuff for my mom’s place, plus these
two guys need to help me out” Ryan said.

“I’ll call you later?” he asked her.

“Sure, no problem.” Kathy smiled.

“Okay then, see ya.” Ryan went over and gave Kathy a hug and kissed her on the cheek.

“Bye.” The girls said as the boys left.

After they left, Kathy knew the teasing would began soon.

“Oh-la-la” Lilly said.

“Someone just got a cute kiss and a new boyfriend” Heather said.

“First of all it was indeed a cute kiss on the cheek and second of all he is not my boyfriend……..yet.” she smiled.

“Okay than, so are you waiting for him to ask you to be his girlfriend. Like a proposal?” Heather asked.

“It’s his decision weather if he wants to ask me to be his girlfriend or not.” Kathy said to them

“Okay, is this conversation done, I’m really hungry, can we go to the food court now please?” Kathy asked them

“Okay okay, we’re walking now; I’m as hungry as you.” Lilly said.

They walked up 2 levels and finally reached the food court. There were tons of choices of food for them to choose from.

“So we’ll just spread out and see what we want and meet at a table.” Lilly suggested.
The girls walked around the food court and after a while they got their food and went to a table together.

“Did you tell Ryan about the winter party?” Heather asked Kathy.

“Nope, I don’t want to embarrass myself in front of him. Besides I’ll be busy performing anyway, THANKS to you.” She said sarcastically to Heather.

“Hey no need to thank me, it’s a pleasure to sign you up to perform.” She smiled.

“Okay so if you didn’t tell Ryan about the party, do you have a date then?” Lilly asked.

“Nope, I’m not planning to get a date. I got you two with me.” Kathy said.

“Um, Kathy but I got a date already. Mike asked me to the party and I said yes.” Lilly said.

“Me too, I’ve got a date already, but you know what its fine, we can still hang out with you.” Heather said.

“Fine but I don’t want to bother you guys too much.” Kathy said to the girls. She continued eating her food.

Only Heather and Lilly knows the surprise for Kathy. The girls looked at each other and knowing that they would be busted when Kathy finds out.
